When the Cameras Leave, the Disaster Doesn’t

As I write this, the world’s attention is on Venezuela.

The earthquakes have dominated headlines. Rescue teams are searching through rubble. Governments are mobilizing. Aid organizations are doing what they do best in the earliest hours of a crisis: saving lives.

That response matters. It always will.
